Although today is a sat, however, it is a public holiday(Deepavali), hence there is no official guitar lesson in the morning.

Woke up @ ard 11 to prepare myself for my driving lesson which is from 1:30 to 3:30. During the driving lesson, tried U-turn, parallel & reverse parking. Soon it was 3:30 and hence ended my lesson.

After ending my lesson, my parents then fetched me to Bishan, J8 to meet up with a few of AWWA clique for a series of arcade games. We played a few rounds of air hockey. With me verses a few of the guys in a few rounds. Out of the 3 rounds i played individually with 3 guys, i win Shawn and Jer, however i lose to Philip. We also played 2 rounds of Daytona. As Philip was unable to play, the rest of us then played against each other, however, 1 of the machine gives problem and shawn couldnt start the game tgt. hence, first round was with Jer and TJ. it was quite an exciting game. for this first round, i came in 1st, while jer 2nd, and tj 3rd. In the 2nd round, me and jer then played with shawn. At the start of this round, i was somehow lagging behind. however, towards teh end of the game, i managed to chase up and got 1st again. :)

Soon it was 6 plus and we stopped our games and settle the 'debts' before tj left with his friends while teh rest of us headed to the food centre for our dinner. It was a fun-filled day. Too bad good times always end early. Soon sch's starting and attachment starting too. Hope the weekends dun pass too fast...

Was awaken by a phone call from my teacher about my SIP(Student Internship Program) aka attachment. He told me that there is a company who is willing to let me work in but there wont be any allowance. It is BizLink. He oso mentioned that at least there is a company rather than putting me to an in-house attachment(in sch), which wont have much exposure. Hence he told me to wait for another 2-3 more days before he decide to put me into a company.

After hanging up the phone with him, Lynette, from TM Inc msn-ed me to say that there is a company, XpressFlower.com, is willing to take me for my internship and if i agree, would have to go through a interview.

Not long after deciding to take up the offer, the prospective boss gave me a call to arrange for an interview tmr. Knowing that i will be having an interview coming up, Tarin from TM Inc, then offered to help me prepare for it by asking me to go down to ACCESS tmr.

In the evening, went to Whampo for dinner before heading down to HWA(Handicapped Welfare Association) as today is the start of a beginner keyboard class over there. There were about 8 of us in the beginner class. Duration of the class is from 7.30pm to 9pm. In today's lesson, we learned about what is a staff, treble clef, time signature. We also learned how to look at the notes("tau gay") by playing a few simple songs like "Mary had a little lamb", "Ode to Joy" and "Jingle Bell". It was quite a fruitful lesson although most of the theory i have already learnt before.

As already a weekly routine, I went for guitar lesson. Today's lesson was quite different as there was a new gutar instructor, Arvind, who is from the AWWA elderly services.Since he was new to the team, my mum then kick start the introduction session by asking us to introduce ourselve to him, before the other guitar teachers arrive. We even played Canon in D for him.

However, Daniel couldnt come, but Justin did arrive a while later. We actually managed to catch hold of the silky skills demostrated by Arvind. And I tink that he will be a addition to the guitar team, and there is more teachers to guide us.

Throughout the session, Arvind taught me & shawn a new method of strumming(down, down, up, up, down, up), while Justin coached Jermayne. Somehow, I did manage to get the pattern right, but the tone that came out of the guitar seems to be buzzing alot.

Towards the end of the session, Arvind and Justin were also sharing some tips among themselves. Arvind was also demostrating to us some songs that he could play, eg. Vincent, Stop and Stare, among others. Then we also combined play Right Here Waiting, 关怀方式. They played the chords while the rest of us tried to combine with them by playing the melody, and I have to say, it was a interesting experience. Practiced until about 1.30pm before we left, after we knew that we were way off the time limit haha.

Holiday this term is well-spent as i have been going down to ACCESS to volunteer together with Jermayne & Shawn. Arranged to meet them @ ACCESS @ 12 30 to help janice. However, there were times when i reached there slightly earlier, hence i started helping first, while waitign for them. Helped Janice do some project, designing stuffs, laminating, cut and paste, those kind of work. Had fun throughout, do and chat together at the same. We seem to have alot of things to chat about, from guitar to others. Time sure flies when we have things to do.

Finally a year where Dad's Birthday. he is not so busy that can onli celebrate with him during the night.

Woke up @ ard 11, washed up and went to brunch tgt with parents @ Tampines Safra's Sakura. Had Buffet. There were many kinds of variety of food available. After our meal, we headed back home, while my father then went out to settle some stuffs.

He onli came back home @ 8 plus whereby all the family members were all at home already and hence we started taking out the birthday cake and while i use my guitar to play the birthday song, the rest of the family sang. We also took some photos.

finally, after a few week of rest from special awards' performance, today, guitar has resumed its lesson. In today's lesson, we learnt new stuffs... chords. We were taught C, Dm, and F chords. We were asked to learn how to change from C chord to Dm chord smoothly.

After awhile, Parames then introduced a lady, from ComChest, whom have come to ACCESS to see our sessions so as to give an idea of what we will be doing for the upcoming Christmas Lightup in Nov. While we were performing Canon In D for her, she went ard to film us.

Soon, it the end of the guitar lesson, and my parents then fetched the guys(TJ, JX, Philip, and Jer) to the chalet. sry guys have to make u all walk a distance cos put u in the wrong venue. i told my parents that is at downtown liao but they still insist is at the costa sands which we alighted u all.

After alighting them, went back home to rest before heading down to ITE Simei for my handcycling event. In handcycling today, did a warm-up of 3 rounds ard the track in the handcycle bike, and 1 rd in my own wheelchair... super tired. Towards teh end of the session, went another 2 rds(competitively) with Iskandar and YP. thinking that iskandar is a very gd handcyclist, i tried my very best to travel as fast as i could and in the end i came in 1st(although is jsut a training session).. reason why i could come in 1st was that Iskandar tried to change gear while on the move and hence slowed him down... YP was cos she was moving too fast in the first rd that she had chest pain in the 2nd and couldnt cycle fast. Today's handcycling session ended later than expected. the session was supposed to be from 3-5... yet by the time it officially ended, it was already 630pm.

I then quickly went to change into my own wheelchair before heading down to downtown for HuiQi's Bday party. over there, chatted with cliques while having my dinner. chatted until 8 when all the cliques who were there already since afternoon had to leave cos is late, hence bidded bye to them while waiting for yp to come and stayed with her until 9 before we also head back home.
